Part-time Assistant Ice Technician

Evergreen Curling Club is hiring for the position of Assistant Ice Technician at our facility in Beaverton. This position is responsible for performing ice maintenance duties. No experience necessary. Training is provided.

Job Description:

The ice tech will report to the Curling Events Manager and perform ice maintenance duties including scraping, pebbling, mopping, cleaning, etc. of the curling ice surface.

The successful candidate will demonstrate cautious attention to detail while maintaining a high-quality curling ice surface. They will also keep simple records of their work and maintain professional communication with the Evergreen CC ice operations team.

Schedule and Compensation:

Ice maintenance usually takes place between 4pm and 6pm weekdays late September through early May. Additional hours may available on weekends as well as in mid-May.  This is a seasonal position.

Additional hours available if candidate is interested in also working as a curling instructor teaching basic curling skills to beginners (no experience necessary, training provided). Please inquire if interested.

Starting pay is $12/hr.
